I bought some 3M film for my tank (2014), but honestly, it was real pain to try to install. Made my own templates from paper, drew them out, cut to size, then transferred the template over to the film and cut that out. All of that went just fine - but then peeling the film while attempting to lay each piece down "bubble free" was where I had some trouble.
In the end, I did only about half the job I had planned to do, realizing that it wasn't going to go down well with my lack of film experience. There is enough coverage however to deal with the tank bag / magnetic base pieces (I think). Not totally unhappy with the job, but not entirely satisfied with it either. The film however, is doing its job.
