I have been a member for over 20 years and like their road side assistance program , never had to use it but it covers my bikes and our cars for a low price.
I have used both the mushroom plugs and the string ones and yes sometimes it needs some strength to get thru the tire.
The mushroom ones seem to plug a leak better than the string ones.
