Summers in Phoenix suck so I typically get a little bit in in the morning (Sunday morning coffee and Tuesday coffee) and that is about it. One trip to Datil for a rally (ride home the temps ranged from 48 to 103 - gah!).

Up north I could easily entertain thoughts of long rides/tours but living down here I just can't get excited about it. Long hours in the saddle in excessive heat is not fun. I got into motorcycles for cheap practical transportation. Just for the fun of it (entertainment purposes) is a fairly recent development for me so I still tend to look at what is the proper tool to get from A to B and many times the car/truck wins because it has AC. Smile

Paid my dues in Minnesota and Wisconsin, got nothing left to prove.
