Great report throughout, but you had me at “Live Oak”. I’ve been to Texas exactly once (San Antonio) and have been fascinated with these twisted, sprawling trees ever since. I even researched if they could survive in the Chicago area (they can’t).

Anyway, glad you had an enjoyable first ride there. Looks beautiful.
