Hey pdedse,

Thanks I tried hard to keep it looking and working as it should. Even tho it isnt a difficult task with our bikes.

I'm pretty excited for the new machine. Tbh the only reason I'm getting it, is for some more punch, and better tire options. The added tech is nice because this will be my daily rider when it isnt raining. It was actually pretty tough to find one. All of my local dealerships say they are only getting one and they all have deposits already. This one, is about a 2 hour drive away.

From what I understand, in the US they are only bringing the silver and blue in the "base" trim for 2026. So no fairing, and no quick shifter. I'll probably end up adding both, plus the OEM saddle bags, and center stand, plus it'll be the new home for my RLETs. Maybe theyll add some other flavors in 2027.

I'll definitely give a write up on it and lurk around even after the cb1100 finds its new owner. And maybe if it doesent sell over winter I'll talk the wife into riding the cb1100 and we could sell our old shadow tourer instead.
