Wow, the hits keep coming. Going home from my last pickup, around the spot of the earlier motorcycle crash.
Slid through heavier than normal 405 traffic and came up to people outside their cars. That’s not good.
The freeway was completely closed. Up ahead what ever was burning was being extinguished both by a fire truck on an overpass and a ladder truck on the freeway.
It was clear I was going to be there a while. Didn’t mind the rest but would have liked it more if it weren’t 104 degrees. If I were on the way to my drop off and not coming back, I’d be a bit nervous.
At least it was dusk by the time they reopened the freeway and I got a nice sunset to ride home with.
