Gone, how was the wind protection? Could you feel the heat from the engine? Not that I'll be riding one anytime soon, but curious. Thanks.

It was a particularly warm day. I had all of the vents on my jacket open but I was still toasty, so I couldn’t really say that any of the heat I was feeling was specifically from the bike, even though we sat at some fairly long traffic lights.

As far as wind protection, for what’s still not a particularly wide bike (which is want I’d need to to the narrow parking options in my garage, it was not bad. For the most part we were riding at about 55 mph and under, but at one point on the freeway jaunt, a semi got between me and the ride leader. I punched it to about 75 to get around the truck and behind the leader. Even with the speed and turbulence of the truck, it was pretty good.

The windscreen is positioned way out in front of the riding position and is adjustable, but with tools. The screen bracket has multiple holes to allow you to remove the screen and move up or down a few holes. It was not tall, but being so far out in front it was necessarily in the field of view. I was trying to notice any buffeting but didn’t really feel anything annoying.
