I will add that at first the non-tactile sense you get when you climb on an EV bike is weird. When I took my test ride on the Zero, the guy pulled it out of the shop, turned on the key and said "there it's running". I said "what's running?" as I couldn't hear or feel anything sitting on the bike. It was just a dead lump. He said just twist the throttle and you'll go. So I did. Rode about a block and came to a stop sign. When I stopped I immediately thought " dang, this thing just quit" (because there is no sound or vibration to let you know it's in fact still running) as I was looking down and around at the "motor" trying to figure out how to get it started again. I twisted the throttle and it took off again. Weird...although I guess you get used to it.
