Update.  I have to use the full-site version of Imgur on my computer to see the link code options.  I was trying to do this from my iPhone in Safari before.

On the Imgur app on android there is an arrow (like a right turn sign) at the bottom right of the image that opens the link to the image. I'm unsure how this works in an iPhone.
