However, what a cruiser tire WILL do is cruise.  It will be solid, extremely stable on the highway, give you a lot of center tread mileage, and most importantly, fit onto the wheel a little easier.  Some of us know first hand how difficult it actually is to pop the 160 rear tires we've been using onto our wheel. Tires are a function of the motorcycles use case.  Just like shoes. If you want to cruise, a BT46 is an excellent solution.  The Honda Engineers sure thought so.

I owned a Honda Shadow previously. I consider it to be one of the finest cruisers ever built.

My CB1100EX is also an incredible motorcycle.

I road the Shadow like a cruiser. A relaxed ride.

I ride the CB1100 like a naked sport tourer. Comfortable yet with moments of naked aggression, pun intended.

The riding experience between those two motorcycles is completely different.

The Bridgestones have held a crisp turn at speed, accelerated nicely when needed, and provided a smooth, responsive connection between me and the road. For what it is worth, I can’t imagine anything better.

I look forward to learning more about other tires the Forum Members find more compelling. i want to make the most out of every ride. If a different tire can enhance something already great, point me in the right direction. Many thanks, David

The most sophisticated, smooth, perfectly engineered motorcycle I've ever owned. A pleasure in every way.
