The only reason people say that about the BT46 is because its a cruiser tire. Thats its role. The thing about cruiser tires is they arent going to give you confidence to push a bike as hard as youd like through fun corners or when you ask the bike to flip and change direction suddenly. However, what a cruiser tire WILL do is cruise. It will be solid, extremely stable on the highway, give you a lot of center tread mileage, and most importantly, fit onto the wheel a little easier. Some of us know first hand how difficult it actually is to pop the 160 rear tires we've been using onto our wheel. Tires are a function of the motorcycles use case. Just like shoes. If you want to cruise, a BT46 is an excellent solution. The Honda Engineers sure thought so.
