Texas flood

Thanks for the kind words. Dallas is about 5 hours North of the flooding, so thankfully we were spared.

But I have a buddy who lost a lifelong friend and my church lost two parishioners, a couple who were camping when the floods struck.

The worst of it is that so many of the victims were children.

It is touching that so many people have reached out to offer condolences and support.

I wish that children suffering in other parts of the world could receive the same level of care and compassion. Not instead of, but in addition to.

Pray for the families who are hurting and being forced to bear the unbearable.
