Getting used to no fairing...

Both ways have their advantages. If you do a lot of riding above 55 or 60mph, a screen will reduce fatigue. If you do most of your riding at a leisurely pace on back roads, the openness of a naked bike is nice. A small screen will split the difference and may be your best bet. One thing for sure, at least for me, I don't like having to see through a screen to ride, even one slightly below normal eye level.

That NC Deflector may be the ticket but thoroughly check out the thread on screens. There are more than a few options available for this bike.
