Fender rust...how to eliminate (revisited)

Nice job pdedse. I used “POR15” under coatings on my fenders. After I removed the fenders from my CB, I used degreaser and steel wool to remove any bituminous material, dirt and some minor rust that accumulated under the fenders. I then washed the area with dish detergent and water. After the fenders dried, I used a foam paint brush to coat the fenders. After the fenders coating dried overnight, I spread a 2nd thin coat to assure that any missed spots are covered. https://imgur.com/gv3BU5a

That's looks like a very thorough job, nicely done!  Who knows if it is really all that necessary, but it was a fun project and I enjoyed doing it.
