My first ever Apple device was the iPhone 5 with Verizon
does everything I need it to, with little fuss
Some IT guys I work with, went with Android devices, they like to tinker more than you can with an iPhone.
If you just want something simple, that works and has a huge support and accessory market, save yourself hours of research and get an iPhone.
BTW, a new iPhone 6? is due out very soon, may want to wait for that, or get good deal on iPhone 5s.
