I finally got a couple hours away from packing, to get onto the Forum... Thanks for all the good info!
As for the dark paint from removing the tank labels, I'm seriously considering one of two options:
1. find a nice looking wide stripe, or decal?
2. have a pro paint it to look like the early CBX with a tank stripe down the middle?
I won't get back home for several more days, so I haven't been able to play with my new toy! BUT, I have
mixed feelings about heading up North? I understand they're in the middle of a classic Nor'Easter back home,
with several INCHES of that cold white stuff everywhere you look!!
After I drive the U-Haul truck up to Allentown next week, and help set up my daughter's condo, I think I'll just
drive it back to my place, load up the CB and head to my buddies place in SE Florida?? Now, if I could only
convince my wife that it's purely for "health reasons"??!! I don't think she'll miss me too much?!
