Leather....good quality and well maintained...is just fine. If you're sliding on your hands long enough to burn off a double layer of deer or elk skin, you've probably got way bigger problems than your hands.
That said, the motosprt Kevlar gloves look good....how hot are they in the summer (which is what this thread was really about)? I know a lot of riders that say their Kevlar-lined jeans are unbearably hot in the summer, so does the same apply to Kevlar gloves?
