I need that windshield if I'm going to travel with this. Up to 60, dressed out, I'm fine. But any faster, it's fatiguing and noisy...the push back and the wind noise around the helmet. Either I limit it to Grandpa speed, or I get the windshield.
Ordered the National Cycle one from Amazon. National Cycle itself had it sold out; but I got it cheaper than their own retail from an Amazon retailer.
We will see.
Hey, I know Thompson Falls. I got stranded there last year when I was flying up north to Priest Lake. Just north of T Falls we ran into a wall of thunderstorms blocking the Clark Fork valley. Nice lodge on the north side of town.
So, which Nat. Cycle shield did you order? Deflector, Street Shield or Plexistar2?

I like the looks of it - and the batwings covering the grips. My Burgman with the Givi windshield has those; and they are worth a lot.
It looks like it's easy on/off. Hope so. I'm seeing the pattern: Up to 55, the CB is a great ride naked. Faster it's a little windy; and above 70...I start wishing I was elsewhere.
The thing has performance potential. Yesterday up between Paradise and Ravelli, on a straight stretch, I got it up to 100. No complaints from the bike. Rider had a few.
Hopefully this windscreen will help make it at least workable as a tourer.
