I've owned Nolan,Shark,Shoei and Arai. You tend to get what you pay for. In most cases helmets give adequate protection on name brands. There are major differences in fit and comfort. Remember one thing, your noggin is doing the thinkin when you're on the bike. If it DOSEN'T offer you the best protection possible, what price do you put on your head?
More to the point...don't get a helmet that you have to think about after its on. Otherwise you may not notice the guy running that red light.
