The pic attached & inserted below is my Scorpion EXO-1000 helmet.
The cheek pads and ear pads are not only removable, but also inflatable. THe pump is located behind the chin bar. Inflated, the pads expand to seal the ears, therefore reducing a significant amount of air noise when riding. The expansion also makes the fitment extremely snug. IT has drop down sunshade visor.
In the pic attached & inserted below,
the day glow one is an Arai XD4 I use for d/s. It's lightweight, has lots of venting, and a fixed shield to block sunlight. What I wish it would have is a drop down sun visor as well.
The one on the left is an Arai something. It's 4 yrs old, but it fits me like my favorite pair of Levi's. It's quiet, lightweight, and has a drop down wind blocker to close off the air opening beneath your chin, so w/ that piece pulled down, it keeps cold air from hitting your upper neck and lower cheek bones.
