I only wear Aerostich jackets and pants , different ones depending on the season. I do not use their knee protectors in the pants but have the EVS strap on knee/shin protectors as they do not move as much as the one in the pants do. For my hip protectors I use the Held ones from Germany , my wife made pockets for them to use in the pants with adjustable Velcro.
