Been shopping around for a second helmet as back up for my Arai Vector 2 which is now about 4 years old. Love the Arai, would have another one in a heartbeat. Shoei is also awesome especially due the super lightweight of the GT Air, but expensive. The one that surprised me in terms of comfort and value for money was the HJC. To me the fit and comfort felt very similar to the much more expensive Shoei. The HJC RPHA 11 is in scope for my application as it's very light weight, well featured with emergency cheek pad removal tabs, and looks to be of excellent quality. The RPHA 11 is more a sports helmet so it's probably too noisy however the HJC brand is worth checking out.
