What a wuss. Here in Texas, there would have been backup and helicopters on scene in a heartbeat, and likely a few gunshots taking out engines, tires, or who know what else!
Same thing happened in Dallas. Ultimately ended up with a roadblock that nabbed a few. Cool part was that they confiscated their Go Pro cameras, and from the footage were able to ID license plates, riders, and even the location of their meetup locations. Later visits led to arrests, confiscation of stolen bikes, tickets for lack of inspection, insurance, etc. I remember there being a lot of flack over the legalities of the police actions. I am not a big fan of the overzealous police state, but it was fun to see a few of the dummies get their due.
