Ferret; the Griso 8V 1200, (only the SE is imported here) is quite the machine and on any given Sunday could be me keeper bike (the other Sundays it's the CB). But, it helps if the ECU is remapped. The new factory mapping is pretty good but some riders, most with tons more seat time than I, have issues. My biggest complaint is that she is too thirsty.
Not as good in the tight twisty bits, better on the sweepers, and the motor just feels better for long long rides. I think it's the low frequency rumble at cruise vs. the slight buzz of the CB. Simply more appealing. Grab throttle and she leaps.
Once I bought the CB I thought the Griso would be surplus but they are two very different machines, like Ginger and MaryAnn. Sometimes you want the beauty that is no good for you; sometimes not.
