Honestly the CB 1100 is the best all around motorcycle I can remember riding. Its got the best fueling, probably the second best brakes (the BMW R1200R ranked 1st for me) , handling that is above average but not stellar, the second most linear power band (GS1100E ranked first for me...what a tractor) the second best ergos,( behind my 77 KZ1000), the best clutch and transmission, the smoothest motor, and stunning good looks.( esp the DLX but I am biased on that point). Total the points and it's the best overall IMO. Others may rank bikes differently.
I have not ridden the Euro 1300 Yamaha. I have ridden the 1250 Suzuki. I'll be riding a ZRX 1200 next week. I have ridden the XS 1100 Yamaha, and the VMax, and the CBX ( which is way cool and sounds awesome but for a daily rider I'd rather have a CB 1100) and all iterations of the Honda CB 750/900/1000/1100 series.
