I also follow your escape plan in traffic and I'm also concerned about who is behind me. So far so good.
I often dismayed to see bikes blasting through traffic. All it takes is a driver to change lanes with no signal (most of the time) and you're toast.
I just hope they make it to a ripe old age like me and still be enjoying this great hobby.
