I actually just recently started fueling on the bike. Started when I bought my supermoto which was so light, it was easy to balance and concentrate on not over filling the tank.
I started doing it on the CB since I rarely run a tank bag. Also, it's harder to put on the center stand with the grab handle blocked by my saddlebag.
The V-strom is top heavy(er), always has a tank bag, and is easy as pie to center stand, so I haven't started that bad habit on it.
I am usually filling up after I leave the house or right before I am getting back, so I am not as concerned with getting off to stretch. It is food for thought, though.
