Watched the "show" - and enjoyed it! Wasn't too emotional about it though. Professional sport has failed to ignite a lot of passion in me for many years now. The participants act the way humans too often do when fame and fortune is dangled before them. And it's not pretty.
So, you watch the fantastic feats these guys can put out there and sometimes see some encouraging acts of genuine sportsmanship that push aside the media business circus for a moment. Marquez and Rossi had what appeared to be a respectful rivalry for a couple years but that went away when VR had a shot his 10th. That consumed everything else.
