So. Does the "one bike does all" holy grail exist? What would your pick be?

I'm prepping my XR650L to be my OBDA bike. May have to lower it in the future (I can flat foot it now, but she gets top heavy). The CB could be, but she is irking me right now as the rear brake and my boots don't get along; something is out of whack, as I find the right foot riding the rear brake at times. This is warping the rear disc which are very dear to replace. First bike this has happened on me and it is tarnishing the wonderful experience.

But an OBDA is going to be different for each person, depending on what sort of riding they like to do. I like the 650L because she is torquey, cruises at freeway speeds, capable of dirt, simple and handles wonderfully (pushing the limits it could be better but she does fine within my limits) and it fairly light. Even the seat is not too bad.

Those big adventure singles are great bikes. Sometimes
I wish I would have bought the Honda or Suzuki's 650
instead of the KLR. That radiator is one more thing to
worry about and I'm sure it adds a bit of weight.
