It was part waiting for the hard compound to heat up and deliver some grip, and then waiting for the soft tires to disintegrate. Rossi was just starting to fall back in the last couple of laps and his front tire would not have gone much longer.my wife said 'soon, he's going tobe riding on the rim" lol. It's a miracle he and Marquez even finished on that rubber.
