The Ferret reported to me that his cable was cut, but that he rode 53 miles today, smashing his 25,000 mile goal and he did so on his CB1100. He claims that the cable will not be repaired until Jan 3, which sounds more like he failed to pay his bill, but I'm not going to say so publicly.
He now is 22 for 22 in December and, since he won't be posting, he will have plenty of free time to get a ride in each of the remaining 9 days. We will see. Also, we will see if he rides the CB1100 on 12/31 if it does indeed come to pass that the ride will be number 31 out of 31.
