Streak had to come to an end sometime

Ferret, you won't get much sympathy from me I'm afraid...we've already had 3 blizzards of 12+ inches of snow, and the roads have been snow-covered for at least a month now.
But I'm still getting my two-wheeled fix! The coldest I've ridden in so far is 5f with a -10 windchill, but I might get out today as the wind seems calm -- but temp is about -15.
With about 5 psi in the tires this thing gets around great in the snow. I'm housebound a lot, and this has been the only thing keeping me sane!

There are some of us that would contend that riding a 2-wheeled vehicle without a motor, much less in subzero temps, actually proves the opposite.

(actually, riding a bicycle in the winter is pretty fun as long as it's not what you do for a living).

Haha, touche, Emptysea. You aren't the first one who's said that. And you're right, I've been having a lot of fun with it. Just returned from my ride -- windchill was -29 when I walked out the door. Worst part was the icicles hanging from my eyelashes, kind of makes it hard to blink!

Haha, touche, Emptysea. You aren't the first one who's said that. And you're right, I've been having a lot of fun with it. Just returned from my ride -- windchill was -29 when I walked out the door. Worst part was the icicles hanging from my eyelashes, kind of makes it hard to blink! Well...I didn't even mention the relative insanity of living in North Dakota. LOL
