I've never suffered with kidney stones. So I can't know what those of you have gone through, but you definitely have my sympathy. After hearing all of your descriptions, I wouldn't even wish it on an ex-wife. But I've been doing the water and apple cider vinegar for years. Water torture, I call it, isn't much fun at first. But you do adjust and actually get to the point where you miss it if you cut back on drinking it. The rule I heard somewhere is to drink half your weight in ounces of water ( if you're 200lbs; drink 100ozs. of water). I started on the apple cider vinegar to help with an acid reflux problem. I used to live on Maalox and Pepcid AC. At the time I wasn't aware of all the other supposed benefits of apple cider vinegar. You can mix a couple of table spoons of the vinegar with Raspberry/Cranberry juice or apple juice and it tastes much better. Also, I'm told, you have to get the apple cider vinegar that has " The Mother". I don't even know what that is. But it seems to work. Hope this helps.
