I'm still in break-in but have to agree with everything you said (except I haven't been above 6500 rpm yet).
Hands down much better than the NC700X. This bike is pure unadulterated flat out fun. It's a definite keeper and that great little engine will keep me entertained for years. Honda really hit the mark on this one.
