I took the Maryland State Police Basic Motorcycle Class. It's a 2 week class that focuses mostly on 20 small cone courses. I made it to the final day of the first week when the bike (850 lbs. Harley) fell on the top of my right foot before the midterm. I actually didn't know how bad the injury was; I've never broken a bone before and thought my foot was just really sore. I then completed the midterm and passed. Got home, saw my foot, and knew instantly that I was done 
Had a ct scan a couple days ago and I'm about to leave for the follow-up appointment to see if I need surgery or not... let's hope for the best! I'm going stir crazy staring at my CB1100 in the garage.
Feel free to ask any questions about the class as I would love to share everything. It was definitely one of the most challenging things I've done in my life! My spot is saved for the next class in the fall and I'll be trying again.
