Another reason I ride every day

Silverbub, John and I never rode motorcycles together. He worked 3rd shift and I worked first shift. He bought it to ride to work, but to tell the truth I'm not sure how much use he really got out of it. Neat bike too.

Not really sure why I told you guys all that stuff, other than I needed to talk to someone about it I suppose. When you are retired and everyone you know is still working, you spend a lot of time by yourself. That can be good..and it can be bad. I guess I am at that age that stuff like this will be happening to my friends on an increasing basis. Not looking forward to that. Another one of our bow buddies passed away suddenly late last year. That was easier. bam, it was over. With John it's different, because it is a slow process and I get to watch him fading. He's fighting it though, although he says on some days he in in such pain that he just wants to give up. What a retched thing to go through.

It really does bring home for me, my goodness if you want to do something, ya better get to doing it while you can.
