I live in south Georgia because it has lots of snakes, bugs, spiders, lizards and other interesting creatures. I would not live anywhere there was a chance of snow sticking for more than five minutes or more than a half dozen days of below freezing temps. I like that I can drive 30 miles to where I used to work without encountering a single red light. I have hundreds of miles of rural two lane to ride with little more than tractors and P/U's to share the road with and get a friendly wave from most everyone I meet. It's nice to live where people stop to ask if you're okay when you stop at roadside. Our church has a motorcycle ministry that has opened the door to dozens of fellow riders I now call brothers and sisters. I call it my own heaven on earth and best of all, it's not in Florida.
