I'm at a cross road in my riding aspirations whereby riding the long distance ADV stuff is now locked on my radar. I recently took a trip into Mexico on my strom650, rode all the dirt roads circling the mountainside south of Monterrey, MX, immersed myself with all things local, ate authetic mexican dishes, and basically had the time of my life. I plan to return to Mexico in the foreseeable future, maybe w/ more time & play money permitting, go even farther south, this time to Equador. Hopefully, I'll be able to scratch this endeavor off my list in 2019.
