Mine was a 1975 CB500T. It ran mostly on one cylinder and the other would pop from time to time. It had an intermittent charging issue that ALMOST left me stranded a time or two, but I just kept kicking it till it restarted and I made it home.

That is how my Yamaha RD400 started, mostly on one cylinder before it was rebuilt. Found a Suzuki piston. After that, it was normal operation, except for a gear shifter seal that blew a week after the rebuild and oil spewing at a red light intersection. I got up to speed and coasted the remaining distance home.
