We’re vearing a bit off topic here so I expect a moderator to come along shortly and remind us that we have a very narrow focus on this site. But before they do. No credible reference for some of the rankings as noted above. In fact, the article quoted above were the US is listed as #10 for most brutal police states has zero footnotes to lend any reputable standing to it and is credited to “Ryan”. Not even a last name or any academia credentials are listed. Just Ryan. Another site had the US at number #1. Ahead of Somalia (Somalia actually has a police force?), Haiti, Egypt, Iran etc. etc. How about we agree there are bad cops everywhere regardless of what country you’re currently standing in and leave it at that.
