Well Ive had gout, and kidney stones and I would rate this right with them pain wise.
Couldnt get an appt with my regular ortho guy until tomorrow, so after another sleepless night of excruciating pain, my wife decided I needed to go the the ER. A battery of blood tests, xrays, sonagrams or whatever they are called etc showed I had no infection in my blood, and no broken bones. Lots of arthritis in the knee and something called a Burkes cyst in the back of my right knee. A saline drip to cure some dehydration, some morphine for the pain, a knee imobilizer and some crutches and 2 scripts for pain and nausea and they sent me home. Tomorrow I will go see the ortho doc and see what he says.
