In my younger years, I owned and rode Honda CA models (Benly/Baby Dream and Dream) for only 2 or 3 years each. Even though I desired Honda CBs and other sport bikes, the CAs were less expensive. So my young Perspective on the CAs is that I owned them long enough.
Then I bought a low mileage 1970 Honda CL350 in 1971 (my Calculus 3 Professor bought my CA77
). My Perspective with the CL was like a 'flash in the pan' It was stolen within 3 months of ownership.
Back to walking and pedaling a bicycle again until 1974. Now that seemed like forever!
Then in 1974, I saw an advertisement for a 1967 Honda CB77. It is still in my garage. Even in my senior years where life is flying by, my perceptive is that my CB77 and I have been a pair for years. When I made this display of all the former license plates that I put on the CB, with all the relocations we made, that brings everything into perspective.
