How far do you commute?

22 miles round trip on weekdays. That ride is 24 miles in a car, but riding allows me to take a shortcut through a park, and between two barricades that a car can't fit through. The police have only once admonished me that just because I've seen their bikes squeeze through, doesn't mean that I can't as well. But, the police don't usually hang out in the park, and I have a good view if they are... That trip one way is 18 minutes on a bike, 40 minutes in a car.

100 miles round trip on weekends. That ride is from Orange County to the West Side of L.A. 50 minutes one way by bike, 1.5 hours by car.
