I like that places like The Bike Shed exist. We have several bike nights and other events in Chicago that cater to this segment of the motorcycle community. I attend infrequently. I like both the venues and the vibe of these events. I don't enjoy the heavy traffic I have to endure to get to the inner-city destinations.
I agree, although we don't have anything like that here. Of course as you know I am not in a city. The closest thing we have is Quaker Steak & Lube Bike night and nobody shows up after the first one of the year but the life saving pipes biker crowd.
There used to be a Euro version bike night (Ducati's, Moto Guzzi's and KTM's) a few miles away at a cafe, but it died out on it's own after the first year.
The two crowds don't seem to mix well.
There are no ADV, Hipster, Scooter, Sport bike or UJM nights/events that I am aware of near here.
