Secondly, Wagonpeddler’s and Frulk’s criticisms of the Sportster are subjective — it had features they don’t like. For others it’s probably a fine bike.
And that’s the point. There’s nothing wrong with not liking something. But that doesn’t make it objectively bad. It makes no sense to condemn a marque that has been largely successful over many years and which continues to attract more than enough buyers to stay in business. No-one is obliged to like it; but dislike does not equal bad.
