HD vet "You know that's a scooter dontcha boy?"

HD scooter rider "Yes sir, I bought it."

HD vet "My sister has a 883 Sportster. She's more of a man than you!"

HD scooter rider "What's a Sportster?"



If they did a scooter just think of all the Sportster and V-Rod riders that will instantly feel more part of "the pack".

That's funny, but no chance...at least not for me as a former Sportster owner. I had 0% interest in any other HD bike when I bought an '04 Sportster...black and gold. I bought a Sportster because for me it was one of the few "looks like a motorcycle should" bikes at that time. But the dealerships' salesmen would always ask, "ready to upgrade?" when I visited. I told them that wasn't possible for I already had their top-tier bike.



Had zero desire to be part of any pack...it was just a darn good motorcycle.
