Don't get me wrong, they are very pleasant and nice but in my local CG they are having a tough time retaining anyone with knowledge. We get more of a minimum wage type crew there. One guy knew his stuff but left for another store. Maybe because I have a lot of experience I look at things differently but the ones that actually do ride and work there are somewhat new to the sport themselves I've actually helped some of their customers for them. I find their top name gear is very expensive compared to online. And the store brand is very generic like the stuff from leather up . com

I would never buy one of their helmets at CG. They do have top brands like shoei and aria but nothing in the middle like HJC or scorpion

I totally got what you were saying and educated help is hard to find at minimum wage. My excitement of going into a brick and mortar was being able to touch gear and try it on without having to have it shipped to my house first. I paid little attention to the young kid that was trying his best to sell me a helmet, other than to have him search sizes for me....saved me from having to take my glasses on and off.
