I'm glad you guys had some good experiences at cycle gear. Don't get me wrong, they are very pleasant and nice but in my local CG they are having a tough time retaining anyone with knowledge. We get more of a minimum wage type crew there. One guy knew his stuff but left for another store. Maybe because I have a lot of experience I look at things differently but the ones that actually do ride and work there are somewhat new to the sport themselves I've actually helped some of their customers for them. I find their top name gear is very expensive compared to online. And the store brand is very generic like the stuff from leather up . com

I would never buy one of their helmets at CG. They do have top brands like shoei and aria but nothing in the middle like HJC or scorpion
