Thanks Ferret. The good news is now he is negative and is independently walking on his own now - getting stronger everyday.

Thanks everyone. For his advanced age, he is currently (and finally) doing well.
Seems almost every time I pull up to visit on the motorcycle he wants to go for a ride. Those days are now behind him, although an ebike could be possible.
