haha....this is what happens when you're granted the amazing priviledge of lane splitting/filtering and then have it taken away. It must feel like trying to do surgery with missing fingers. Splitting and filtering has never been legal here and any time I've scooted around the law and done it anyway has resulted in close calls due to drivers who think vehicular manslaughter is an appropriate way to keep somebody from "skipping the line" and getting ahead. I've commuted on my motorcycle every day for many years too, but having never had the option to split lanes, i can see how going back to a car after having all that freedom and agency and convenience would drive a person crazy. I'm sorry you're faced with this terrible trial. just remember, most of us out in here in the savage countryside have no choice but sit in our lanes like a car and be good little boys and girls, even when we're on a bike.
